Natalia KucirkovaĢżis Professor of Early Childhood Education and Development at the University of Stavanger, Norway and Professor of Reading and Childrenā€™s Development at The Open University, UK. Nataliaā€™s work is concerned with social justice in childrenā€™s literacy and use of technologies. She is the founder of the International Collective of Childrenā€™s Digital Books that connects research and design in childrenā€™s e-books and literacy apps and Chair of the Childrenā€™s Digital Book Award that is the first award judged entirely by teachers. Her research takes place collaboratively across academia, commercial and third sectors.

On this week’s episode Natalia speaks to Nick Johnson (BERA chief executive) on adapting literature to make it more personal for children.
